The 8th “Taiwan International Machine Tool Show” (TMTS 2024), organized by the Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association, gathered more than 600 exhibitors and 3,350 booths across Halls 1 and 2 of the Nangang Exhibition Center, running for five days and concluding perfectly on March 31st.
According to statistics from the Machine Tool Association, the exhibition attracted nearly 70,000 visitors from both domestic and international locales, with 3,319 of those visitors coming from 68 different countries/regions. The top ten buyer countries were, in order, India, Japan, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Turkey, with several countries organizing buyer groups to attend and purchase at the exhibition.
After the physical exhibition concluded, TMTS 2024’s online business opportunities will continue until March of the next year. During the physical exhibition, the online attendance from both domestic and international visitors reached 110,000 from 123 countries. This year’s TMTS, both the physical and digital exhibitions, was extremely popular, with business opportunities booming! The event received unanimous praise from exhibitors, who noted that the international buyer turnout and actual orders placed far exceeded expectations, with the TMTS exhibition anticipated to generate business opportunities worth 1.5 billion USD.
